Apologies for the delay. It is possible for Dreamfolk to attend the Ioduan Academy, yes! While acquiring a full degree may be difficult simply due to timing - the Dreamfolk don't always remain in Konryu long enough to complete the necessary coursework. However, there are systems in place to address this. Dreamfolk can attend the Academy on a course-by-course basis if they wish, and there are shorter certificate programs that can be anywhere from 3 to 18 months long. Additionally, there are free lectures most months that the public can attend.
The Academy can also take into account previous learning done in one's homeworld. A character can take aptitude exams to determine their knowledge or experience and this would allow them to skip prerequisites (within reason). There are undergraduate and graduate level courses, though most Dreamfolk will be directed towards undergraduate level work. They won't be prevented from pursuing a graduate level certificate or degree unless they would be seriously out of their depth.
The Academy offers a wide range of courses, such as mathematics, engineering, chemistry, and other sciences. These tend to be more familiar to most Dreamfolk, with many of the same foundations, laws, and principles. Liberal arts, the study of history and archaeology, theology, and so on, would be hard for Dreamfolk to complete degrees in without having grown up in Konryu. Certificates or single courses would be better here. Metaphysics is a wide area of study, with lots of options to explore but simultaneously a large learning curve and a lot of uncertainty.
The Academy also has strong vocational programs. The archipelago requires careful management, and much of the research produced at the schools is related to maintaining or improving sustainability atop the great turtles. Students can learn about sustainable farming; turtle health; animal husbandry; management of forests, coasts, freshwater, infrastructure, and more.
Anyone interested in attending the Academy can visit the Office of Student Affairs to apply. Counselors will be there to help advise applicants on their options and guide them through the process, including any testing they may need to take. The Academy is designed to be as accessible as possible and offers financial aid specifically set aside for Dreamfolk. Costs wouldn't be prohibitive, and in certain cases a Dreamfolk might be able to offer the Academy something other than money to pay their way: information related to current research, work study, application of relevant magic or Talents, etc. In general terms, a student would probably pay 6-8 cobalt rhinn a month (about $600-$800) for full-time education.
