Event Suggestions

• Does your character want to cause some mischief and mayhem?
• Do they want to host the party of the season?
• Would they like to mark a special event from their own universe and share it with everyone?

Here is where you can suggest plots and events that you'd like to see happen in game! These can be either character-triggered (like Bob and Sam accidentally release a genie who terrorizes the city with spiteful bad luck wishes!) or be a general effect or happening you'd like to come up (like characters temporarily lose their memories or get fake ones!).

If you have a character or an idea that would help facilitate whichever outcome you're going for, let us know! We'd love to work with players to involve PCs in all the shenanigans that we get up to. But if you can't come up with a feasible way to execute the plan, never fear-- we can pin an awful lot on the fickle Dreaming plane to make it work.

Submitting A Plot/Event

To suggest an event, copy and complete the below form and post it in a comment on this page. The mods will discuss the details and get back to you regarding your idea, or let you know if we need more information.

For events which are time-sensitive (for example, a festival wanting to be held on a particular date or holiday), please try to give the mods at least ONE WEEK lead time. Our modteam is stretched across multiple timezones, so sometimes it takes us a couple days to get everyone's input.

If you've chosen to have your character be the facilitator of an event, the plot becomes your responsibility to organize during the time period assigned. This consists of providing an OOC planning post with details a few days prior to the event, and an in-character log (if applicable).

Player Name: Kalineh

Instigating Character/Incident: The Dreaming messes with the damaged library and unleashes Fairy Tales upon the city, Fairy Tales that the Dreamfolk inadvertently play out, even if they become aware that something is off. (Which would make it even more fun).
Event Outline:
An event in which players can choose which fairy tales their characters will play out and which version is played out, be it Grimms, Disney or some other tradition. I will post a sign up where people can claim characters storylines so we don't have repeats.

Areas Affected: The Dreamfolk in Aifaran
Long-Term Impact: Reaffirmation that the Dreamfolk are weird, otherwise it's pretty harmless. (Though with this bunch, that might be debatable.)

Suggested Duration & Dates: February 11th-14th

Your event suggestion has been approved! We'd like to suggest extending the dates to February 7-16 in order to allow ample time for the event to be played out. This event will be included on the monthly agenda.

Please post in the OOC comm a few days before the event and include that this event is opt-in; if you wish to do a collective log for people to tag into, that would also be excellent.
