Welcome to Khu Ioduan, your application for Kylo Ren has been accepted! Please read the following carefully as it contains many important links and information you'll need to get settled in the game.

He will require an opt-in permissions post for all of the Force abilities listed in the app, to be hosted and available for player comment on his journal. Please provide this link as well as links to your character's IC inbox and optional information post when you respond to the Taken Characters list, explained below.

AFFINITY: Your character's randomized starting ranks for all seven Affinity areas have been added to the tracking spreadsheet! Be sure to bookmark the link for future reference, since Affinity will be part of your Activity Checks.

TALENT: Upon arrival in Aifaran, Kylo has received an ability from the school of Conjuration! He will find this image tattooed somewhere in a location of your choice, and you're free to decide how your character discovers the specifics of their new power: Pet Sematary!

Level 1 Skill: You can reanimate dead animals or revive animals on the brink of death. Up to three creatures can be reanimated at a time. Reanimated creatures are undead and bound to the Conjurer’s will and will remain so until either destroyed or decomposed.
Restrictions: Creatures cannot be much bigger than a domestic housecat. To revive an animal on the brink of death requires draining some of the Conjurer’s own life force and revived animals will not be bound to the Conjurer’s will.

ARRIVAL, HOUSING & NETWORK ACCESS:

Your character will appear somewhere within the city of Aifaran, as it is the concentrated center of the archipelago's power. They should be able to easily find their way to the Dreaming Bridge, since Dreamfolk arriving clueless and confused is a regular occurrence here! Once there, your character has been assigned to the Quayside Wing in Room # 03 and can get settled in. The Dreaming Bridge also provides characters with a basic stipend of various necessities and a small allowance of funds (around the equivalent of $50 worth), since meals are provided at the Bridge for all residents (although it's basically cafeteria food). If your character has any special needs (dietary, mobility, etc), the staff will help them with these requests.

An Opara Core technician on-site will also provide them with their network login information, and will help them with some basic tutorials if they seem unfamiliar with this style of technology. They'll also be issued a mobile handset (a "yimo") at this time and shown how to charge it off the stationary terminals. Remember that your character won't have access to the network without getting a login, so while they may have been able to view some other people's broadcasts, they won't be able to reply or make their own until they've gotten their own login.

To officially become part of the game, please complete the following steps:

JOINING:

1. Reply to this comment with your character's journal name, even if you used it to post the application; your character journal will not be added to the comms before you have done this step.
2. Join khuioduan, ioduanlogs, and ioduanooc with that journal. You can also join our meme comm at archishellago and/or follow the game plurk at khuioduan
3. Go to the Taken Characters page and complete the New Character Addition form. Remember to create an IC inbox entry if you haven't already, and you may link to a permissions post for your character, which is optional (but encouraged) unless a permissions post was a stipulation of this acceptance, noted above.

Specific tags have been created in the Network and Logs communities for when you post and tag posts with your character.
